Service involves:
You send us the main board only (or dc sub board) supply any boards needed to swithch the system on, ie if you have an switch board and cable that is needed, please send that as well, with your cpu and memory only
We remove and replace the DC socket, jack only
We check the jack is connecting to the main board only
No warranty given on anything except to the point where the socket connects to the board.
If it is found out that your socket is not the problem we will give you the choice of paying the socket fee and having your board returned as is with the new socket or having the board repaired fully, and having the socket charge deducted from the board repair
But if you are not happy with through hole technology, this is an easy cheap way to have it done by people that do hundreds.
CAREFULLY PACKAGE and ship the system to our factory unit.
